The Maillard family has been winegrowers in Burgundy since the 18th century. Domaine Maillard, founded by Daniel in 1952, now covers 19 hectares and produces wines from the famous Burgundy appellations. His two sons, Alain and Pascal, ensure the continuity of the estate, respecting the traditions of vine cultivation and winemaking.

TASTING NOTE

Dressed in garnet red, this wine displays a nose dominated by morello cherry, raspberry, and undergrowth. Composed of a beautiful, rich and silky texture, the palate presents a perfect balance for aging. It comes from very old vines.

CELLARING POTENTIAL

7 years until 15 to 20 years for the best years.

FOOD & WINE PAIRING

It goes very well with a fillet of beef with morels.
